Bloggers advice, very informative and lol.

Hi Jessica, I'm loving theadvice from the ever expanding blog family:

♠Astroswanny tells us to look at the 'Universe today' site..."A 16-year-old high school girl who is attempting to sail solo around the world spotted a bright bolide over the Pacific Ocean during the peak of last week's Leonid meteor shower. The International Meteor organization relies on reports just like this from observers in the field….or in this case “all at sea”... A Bolide is a fireball which is "a meteor brighter than any of the planets, magnitude -4 (camera flash) or greater." That explains that then, lol.

♠Poppa Bear Cairns Qld (pilot) Says there's sea life around you that has to be seen to be believed as you will no doubt witness / first Aircraft to do a photo pass on Lionheart's voyage when he was inbound to Australia off WA.

People like ♠Chris have advice...When you tape a bit of cloth or small piece of light sail to the back of the vane, it will work much better, as it gets a bit more drag.

Heaps of other tips like "type in "great circle" on wikipedia" ♠Salty dog found..."http://216.147.18.102/dist/ " for the gr8 circle route and others...passageweather.com"
Also, some like ♠Chris Akenfelds (Brisbane) need to be careful ...
"Hey Jessica, I have this mental image of all your skeptics and naysayers: I picture them as fat, beer-guzzling losers who struggle with all their might to bend down and pick up the remote control for their television. They probably spend 16 hours per day watching back-to-back television and sink over $100 worth of alcohol every weekend"...
That's pretty much me! Except for the skeptic and naysayer bit, lol.☻☻☻

Bee-artch of 2009...HEIDI KLUM !!!

Heidi Klum must be the most envied (hated, lol) woman in the world.

Here she is on Ellen in late September:

9 months pregnant and in stillettos of course.

Jessica is making her way through the polynesian islands:

Hi Jessica,Your spell checker's are doing a gr8 job but grammar??? "we're" Ummm it should be at least we've, lol.I love how the blogmeister allowed a bit of politics last blog also. Those Polynesian islands are like a minefield on the map, lol. I hope you don't have too much interrupted sleep while you're passing through. Again I stress, stay away from Pitcairn, they seem to be too friendly for my liking. Just going on the last court case in New Zealand in reference to the Kingdom thing on Pitcairn.Keep shooting the breeze and riding that northerly swell. They had to stop a few surfing events in Hawaii the last 2 days because the surf was so big. Eddie would go.

A Thanksgiving boost to Jess' blog.

This blog family is starting to bicker. I'm loving how poor old Caves Beach Andrew's getting told to stop blathering. It's tough for us Dad's we sometimes get lost in our thoughts, lol.Tahiti is looming and I thought you might like to take EPL over to the odd Coral reef break there. You could even give Teahupoo (Chopoo) a go (nice rhyme? lol). This would be one gnarly ride for a Queensland girl. It's the perfect time too since the waves come from the North swells you are riding in the summer season.☺☺☺I wish a lot of blogger's... would stop spacing soooooooooooo much, cheers.☺☺☺

EPl crosses the Equator Nov 2009

I had to laugh at all the old sea dog rituals being thrown Jessica Watson's way when she crossed the equator.

Neptunus Rex, Ruler of the Raging Main, said...
To all sailors, wherever ye may be: and to all Mermaids, Whales, Sea Serpents, Pogpots, Sharks, Dolphins, Eels, Skates, Suckers, Crabs, Lobsters and all other living things of the sea greetings: Know ye that on 19 November 2009 Jessica Watson appeared in Our Royal Domain on board Ella's Pink Lady Equator bound. Be it further understood that be virtue of the power invested in me, I do hereby command all my subjects to show due honor and respect to her wherever she may be.

NEPTUNE OATH:
Be it now proclaimed by call of Conch and Nautilus throughout the Latitudes of our Oceanic Domain that We, Neptune, Ruler of the Seven Seas, King of the Secret Currents, Lord of the Boundless Waves, Master of the Tides, High Constable of the Coral Caverns and Uttermost Recesses of the Deep, do hereby Sanction and affirm that Our Most Noble Cross of the Equator be bestowed on Jessica Watson, who mere Mortal though she be, hath, this 19th day of November 2009 on board Ella’s Pink Lady, accepted with Good Humour and Withstood the most Rigorous Initiation into the Ancient and Moistening Rites of our Aquatic Court. Sealed and Witnessed in the presence of Edward Bear and all your cabin friends, and signed by His Majesty, King Neptune.

Read this aloud and then empty a bucket of sea water over yourself – the moistening rite – and then CELEBRATE.

She did do the last part on video with a giggle, loved it.

HD for the priveleged class in the burbs.

Talking to myself oh wo ho.
Let's sink another drink.

Bloody HD channels☻
I don't get most of the reception on them so that means I missed out on the great rugby union match in Ireland last night.
And another thing,
They are onto the second series of Survivor on HD and I can't watch that either. There weren't many of us watching in the first place anyway.

Bring it back to analogue for us challenged people. Talk about having a disability.

56

My book is a dictionary, lol.
The 5th sentence/paragraph on page 56 is...
avoid. (to empty) To keep away from.

Calypso Jessica Watson.

To sail on a dream on a crystal clear ocean
To ride on the crest of a wild raging storm

To be part of the movement and part of the growing
Part of beginning to understand

You bring us beside you
To light up the darkness and show us the way
For though we are strangers in your silent world
To live on the land we must learn from the sea

Get Organised

I heard it on the radio, so I don't know if it'll work but it's worth a try.
Apparently, the best way to clean out your kitchen stuff is a drawer at a time.
Put all the items of the drawer in a basket , and the items you don't use over the week you discard to the cellar, lol.
The bedroom sounds challenging. For every 3 items you toss 1 item.

I suppose I could do this but it does seem a waste. I better make sure I donate to St Vincent De Paul.

First of Spring

Magpie here,
I'm about to embark on a Primary School teaching adventure once again.
This time I hope it works out.
That Classroom Management can be a real pain.

While I'm doing that I'm also following Jessica Watson on her ambitious attempt to be the youngest sailor to circumnavigate the world non-stop.
I get scared going through the Sydney Heads let alone going over the Horizon.

I'm also making sure home's ship shape before summer.
At least it's one way to lose weight.
See Ya.
